Does anyone else love the smell of Subway restaurants? Every time I walk by I just think it smells so amazing! Am I weird? I don’t usually go in there but I just love the smell!
Actually Subway used to be one of my go-to comfort foods…
Speaking of comforting food… I made something VERY comforting and autumn-y for dinner last night.
Kabocha Squash – HEAB style.
Steamed Kabocha. YUM!
Even Better: Drizzled with ABU and cinnamon.
I had this plate x2! So delicious and comforting. Need more ASAP!
Today I went to my school and studied ALLLL day, and then had class at night.
I brought some healthy snackies with me:
Carrots and Zucchini with hummus
Almonds, 2 medjool dates and some puffins
And my trusty water bottle
It was a long, but productive day!
Dinner tonight was some more comfort food: leftover chili! And a pickle for dessert.
Off to watch The Hills and The City
Have a great night!
QUESTION: WHAT ARE YOUR COMFORT FOODS?

Steamed kabocha WITH ABU? I love you.
I made kabocha ice-cream tonight. Good, but I think I would have preferred your dinner last night. Better not to blend and freeze it. Oh well, you live and you learn.

I hate the smell of Subway but like the food! Haha. My brother used to live in a building right above a Subway and the hallways reeked of it. The first time I was there I didn’t know Subway was there and I thought a neighbor in the elevator with us had gotten it for dinner. I asked my brother if he smells Subway and he told me he lives above it!
My comfort foods are pancakes and french toast, without a doubt! Never tried kabocha but WANT to!

[...] This weeks asks what your favourite winter squash is. I’ll bet you can guess mine. [...]
