I finally made it across the Brooklyn Bridge! Unlike all those times I didn’t
And I got a chance to wear my new Road ID!
Of course, I didn’t do it alone. JH joined me!
It was a perfect day for a run. We ran from Soho, across the bridge to Brooklyn and then all the way back.
It was a really great run. It’s fun to have a buddy to go with!
We ran about 4 miles and including red lights, chatting and stopping to check out the view on the bridge, we were out for about an hour.
And, we actually decided that we might:
*Train for a HALF MARATHON together!*
It’s probably not great timing as the weather is getting colder, but we definitely want to be half-marathon training buddies sometime in the near future.
Afterwards I promised her a nutritious smoothie.
I blended up almond milk, frozen mangos and papayas, 1/3 of a banana, some raw cacao, and a small scoop of maca.
And it was….um…
JH said it tasted like “If a muffin was made into ice-cream”.
So obviously I proceeded to make myself one right after
It’s another beautiful day, so BF and I are off to do some snacking and shopping.
Enjoy your Saturday!

it’s the three sister’s soup on page 4!! the thyme is delicious. everything in it is delicious. just make sure you give yourself lots of time and space to work with the squash because when it’s raw, it’s a tough pain to deal with.
p.s. happy american thanksgiving!!!
