Ingredients:
6-8 apples (good cooking apples are Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Fuji or Mcintosh)
1 tsp honey or agave nectar (optional)
1/2 tsp cinnamon or to taste (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop apples
2. Put apples into a large pot of water. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
3. Remove from heat. Strain out excess liquid. Place in bowl. Add in honey/agave and cinnamon. Mash.
4. Serve either hot or refrigerated. Delicious on Latkes!
